This facility is located in Strongsville, Ohio on Foltz Industrial Parkway. The facility houses a 2,900 square foot office building attached to a 29,000 square foot warehouse.

The challenge of this project was that the warehouse portion of the building was existing and going to be relocated to this site. This created some difficulties since the building did not meet today's codes. We had to redesign portions of the building so that it would meet the design intent and code requirements.

The paved areas, as well as the warehouse floor, are all made out of heavy reinforced concrete to accommodate the heavy loads of the handled material. The facility also has two loading docks with levelers to accommodate tractor-trailers and a 25-ton crane. The crane is used to unload and load large cargo from the fully enclosed loading portion of the warehouse.

The client required a very advanced fire suppression system. This system was one of the most advanced that we have been involved with. Our client's merchandise can be destroyed by exposure to water. This is the reason for all of the special precautions. The suppression system was required by code because of the volume and size of the building.

This facility brought three locations into one large building, thus reducing the client's cost of doing business. We are happy to hear that our client is very satisfied with the facility and is looking to add another warehouse in the future.
