SELF STORAGE FACILITY This Self-Storage facility is located in Cleveland, Ohio. This facility will include five buildings with a total of 59,287 square feet. Our client is out to produce the finest self-storage facilities in the nation. The facility features climate control storage units, security monitoring, and noncombustible construction.

The challenges of this project were the narrow site, as well as the wide creek that divided the site into two sections. The creek had to be clear spanned for accessibility to the site's rear portion. The most important design element is to achieve the proper proportions of rental square footage to overall site square footage. This became difficult because of the challenges mentioned above.

The ratios were achieved by wider than normal buildings and firewalls, where required. The main building has a two-story office space, which will house their new corporate offices. The glass block tower will be illuminated with neon lights so that it will give the appearance of a lighthouse. This state of the art facility is also monitored with a 24-hour surveillance camera system.
